MLCRI was incorporated in 1991.
MLCRI’s mission is “To provide quality, safe, affordable residential housing to persons with mental retardation/developmental disabilities”.
MLCRI purchased its first home in 1993.
MLCRI is an I.R.S. certified 501 (c) (3) non profit housing corporation.
MLCRI has a seven member Board of Trustees.
MLCRI established its own community based office in January 1 2002 and is currently located at 8228 Mayfield Road, Suite IIA, Room #10, Chesterland, Ohio, 44026.
MLCRI owns 16 homes located in Chesterland, Novelty, Munson, Burton, Hambden, Chardon, Russell, Middlefield and Bainbridge.
MLCRI has $4.3 million in assets.
MLCRI currently provides affordable housing for 60 residents with special needs.
MLCRI has an Annual Operating Budget for 2009 of $700,000.
MLCRI has a five year contract with the Geauga County Board of MR/DD to provide affordable housing for its special needs residents.
MLCRI is supported financially by the Geauga County Board of MR/DD, Foundation Grants, State Grants, Federal Grants, Business donations, Local civic groups, Individual donations, Tenant rent, and regular fundraising.

Become an active member. Fill out our Membership Form and Send $5.00 per person made out to MLCRI. Mail to P.O. Box 725, Chesterland, Ohio 44026.

Make a tax deductible donation. We accept homes, cars, real estate, bequests, memorials, honorariums, etc.
