Old Fashioned Clambake
To benefit Maple Leaf Community Residences, Inc.
Please Join Us
For an Old Fashioned Clambake to include fish (Rainbow Trout) and fowl (roasted chicken) in the bucolic surroundings of Deep Springs Trout Club in Chardon, Ohio. For sports’ fans concerned about missing the Browns’ game versus Saints or Tribe and Tigers, we will have a wide screen for viewing. Besides the fine fare (and this will not be your typical Clambake), artistry of our Maple Leaf Residents will be displayed for purchase, along with a wine pull, silent auction, and raffle. Rick Iacobani, acclaimed acoustical guitarist, will serenade us with smooth jazz throughout the afternoon.
Rain or shine, cocktails and appetizers will be served in outdoor art gallery on fireplace patio beginning at 1 p.m., and food service follows in Clubhouse Atrium. We’re counting on fair weather for our early Indian Summer, but some seating may be outdoors under tent with patio heaters (if needed), so please dress comfortable casual and for weather. Our Toast Hosts from Seven Brothers and Red Eagle Boutique Distilleries, along with Colleen Iacofano-Misconish from World Wines of Ohio (Mentor) will be liberally pouring libations.
We promise the food and scenic fall landscape at this very private Club will not disappoint. Brand new BPA-free jugs filled from fountain spring will be available for take home. $100 per person (extra clams will be available) / $40 tax deductible. Come join in the fun and frivolity of this special harvest season. We are proud to announce, Maple Leaf’s Capital Fund drive to raise $69,100 for home improvements is well underway. Thank you for helping us attain our goal and sharing in Maple Leaf’s success.
